We recently celebrated our 4th anniversary as a Nissan dealer! When we opened this was a new point and we've spent the last 4 years growing vehicle sales volume and with it, our service data base.
Up until this point we've seen an average 20% growth year over year in our service traffic. This has been achieved without much effort beyond opening our doors everyday for business, treating our customers right and fixing their vehicles right the first time. We've done a great job and now it's time to add to our counter team so we can properly handle the additional volume. Perhaps you'll be our new teammate?
You're role will include interacting with our service customers, ensuring they are being offered the necessary maintenance they need in order to prolong the life of the vehicle, communicating feedback from technicians to service customers, organizing paperwork, managing warranty claims and payments, making and taking phone calls, and so on. There is a lot that happens on the counter but always keeping the customers best interest at top of mind will ensure the jobs done right.
You will need to track and report to the service manager on some key performance indicators and together with the service manager you'll set targets for many of the KPIs and implement plans to achieve them.
The responsibilities of a service advisor in our industry change over time, year to year and sometimes week to week.
Requirements - Skill/Past experience
While no experience is necessary, a background in automotive service or even sales could prove useful for this position. Your background could include time on a service counter, in a showroom, in a shop as a foreman or a technician, time as a manager in a dealership or body shop or tire shop. Please make sure to apply.
